The European
Audiovisual Observatory maintains an online database of public funds
for TV, film and other visual media called Korda,
which is probably the best of its kind and is in French
and German as well as
English.
By far
the best database covers French funds. The Guide
is run by APCVL, part of the
Centre regional government. If you are French, you probably know about
it already. It is also worth checking out if you are contemplating a
co-production with France or doing part of your production there.
UK-based site
Film File Europe, set up
by the UK Film Council, is a nice-looking site with some good information
about funding and a lot more information about specific films and distributors.
